We offer different types of membership within NOCELA SAR!
The basic level is with the Patrol Division as a Patroller
with our organization. This position includes a mandated number of hours for patrolling, which are not excessive but a patroller
is indeed required to patrol at least once a month. As well, this position is available to any person, any age, of course
the younger participants will be required to have a guardian with them. This position requires minimal knowledge of biking
and also requires basic first aid and CPR.
The next level up would be the Coordination Dvision. These
are the ranked members of the patrol, and require at least 6 months of patroller status. This team includes the Patrol Commander,
Vice Patrol Commander, A Lieutenant, and 2 Senior Patrollers. This position is more extensive than the basic patroller and
require more hours, and more dedication. It is a plus to have superior medical, law enforcement, or rescue training at this
level.
Another option includes the Auxillary Support Services
Division. This group will provide "Base Camp " type support including providing a visual support team at the Base location,
manning radios, and vehicles to provide communications, and may also include providing food and beverage support to patrollers
at large events or patrols. This position is less intensive, but still is require to meet all standards of a Patroller.
This is a small group of individuals and those that are unable to ride as a Patroller are given priority. This division also
includes Auxillary Search and Rescue Staff, not on bicycles or in vehicles.
On a organizational level, we offer three options.
The first option is a Friend of the Patrol. This type
of organization membership utilizes our partners as supporters, either monetarily or with equipment. All donations are greatly
appreciated no matter how small or large. For more information please contact us.
The second option is the Partnership. This level is for
Land Management Agencies and other Service agencies that manage trails, events, etc. This membership is a membership that
benefits both the Agency as well as the Patrol, as both organizations work together. Please contact us so we can discuss
your benefits as well as ours!
A third option is Emergency Services Partnership. This
level as the name suggests is for Law Enforcement, Search and Rescue groups, Fire Departments, Rangers, etc who wish to utilize
or will come into contact with the Patrol. For more information contact us.
